Frequency U.S. adults try to reduce emissions and save energy 2019
Turning off lights when they are not needed is the most frequent personal action that surveyed U.S. adults practiced as of August 2019, as 89 percent of the respondents stated that they did it always or often. Over half of the surveyed population stated that they hardly ever or never used public transportation, car sharing, biking or walking.
