The highest number of chlamydia cases in Denmark in 2018 was among women from 20 to 24 years, amounting to around 8.2 thousand cases. Among men in the same age group, there were around 5.6 thousand cases that year. For the three youngest age groups the number of cases was higher among women, but in the older age groups from 30 years and older, there were more cases among men.
