Share of chlamydia infection cases in Denmark 2018, by age and gender
The highest share of chlamydia cases in Denmark in 2018 among women was of the 20 to 24 year-olds, accounting for 41.6 percent of all cases among women. The corresponding share among men in this age group was 41.3 percent. For the two youngest age groups, the share was higher among women than among men, but in the older age groups from 25 years and older, a higher share of men than women were infected by chlamydia.
