Distribution of global lithium feedstock production by country 2018
Australia was by far the leading producer of lithium feedstock from rock mining in 2018, accounting for around 60 percent of the global lithium feedstock production. In that year, Chile accounted for around 18 percent of the lithium feedstock production, and was the leading country extracting this material from brine mining.
