Deaths due to respiratory infections in Cuba 2013-2020
In 2020, approximately 3.51 thousand people died from lower respiratory tract infections in Cuba. A decrease of nearly 20 percent compared to the amount registered in the previous year, when the number of deaths due to lower respiratory tract infections in the country reached around 4.38 thousand. Furthermore, new cases of acute respiratory infections in the Caribbean country has been decreasing in recent years.
