Water supply related government budget Japan FY 2014-2023
The initial government budget for water supply related operations in Japan amounted to approximately 37.9 billion Japanese yen in fiscal year 2023. The government budget increased largely in fiscal 2019, up to around 74 billion Japanese yen, as the government added a much higher amount to the budget in that fiscal year in order to make water supply facilities more earthquake-resistant.
