Prefectures with high spending on leisure travels in Japan 2019

A large share of residents in Aichi, around 41 percent, were willing to spend more money on leisure travels, according to a survey conducted in November 2019 among locals of the 47 prefectures in Japan. The Japanese capital Tokyo was revealed to be ranked 36th place, with only 27 percent of its residents desiring to invest money into their travel plans.
