Online travel booking has become more popular in Taiwan. According to a survey conducted by InsightXplorer about travel behavior in 2019, over 30 percent of Taiwanese respondents said that they had purchased products or services from the online accommodation booking platform Agoda for their overseas trips. The survey also revealed that internet content was the major reference source for travel planning.
