In June 2020, the Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) in China ranged at 50.9 points. It had fallen to 35.7 points in February after the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in the first months of 2020. The index for future expectation of production and business activities ranged at 57.5 points in June 2020.
