Tourism revenue loss due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia H1 2020, by industry
As of the first half of 2020, the tourism industry in Indonesia suffered a loss of around 85 trillion Indonesian rupiah in tourism revenue. Out of this, the hotel and restaurant industry estimated losses of around 70 trillion Indonesian rupiah. The COVID-19 pandemic has badly affected the tourism industry, as global travel had ground to a halt in order to curb the spread of the virus.
