General government services' value added to GDP in South Africa 2014-2020
In 2020, the South African general government services sector contributed with an added value of approximately 490.02 billion rand (roughly 32 billion U.S. dollars) to the country's gross domestic product (GDP). This represents an increase in comparison to the previous year, when the sector's added value to the country's GDP added up to approximately 486.6 billion rand.
