Number of students in upper secondary education in Norway 2010-2019, by gender

Are more males or females admitted in upper secondary education in Norway? Over the past decade, there were consistently more females than males in upper secondary education. In 2019, the number of female students amounted to 99,421, while the number of male students was 97,208. The number of students in upper secondary education decreased in the past years, which was also the case for the number of upper secondary schools.
