Number of students in upper secondary education in Norway 2011-2021, by gender
Over the past decade, there were consistently more women than men in upper secondary education in Norway. In 2021, the number of female students amounted to 102,528, while the number of male students was 96,370. The number of students in upper secondary education was relatively stable over the past years, which was also the case for the number of upper secondary schools.
