Usage of fixed-line phones Australia 2017-2019, by age group
As of May 2019, according to a survey on communications usage in Australia, just 15 percent of the respondents from the 18 to 34 years old age group used fixed-line phones. This marked a consistent decrease of fixed-line phone usage by that age group since 2017. Comparatively, over 80 percent of the respondents from the oldest age bracket used fixed-line phones.
