Primary renewable energy production in Belgium 2000-2020
Nearly four thousand kilotons of oil equivalent of primary energy was produced using renewable sources in Belgium in 2020. This was the peak of this time period, and an increase of 9.9 percent from the previous year. Since 2000, primary energy production from renewables presented a trend of growth. The largest year-on-year growth was in 2010, at 41.5 percent.
