Market of aerothermal heat pumps in selected countries of the EU-28 2018
The 28 European Union member states sold approximately 3.9 million heat pumps in 2018. The country with the highest amount of heat pumps sold was by far Italy, with nearly 40 percent of the entire EU-28 sales. Spain and France sales were the second and third highest volume, with approximately 942.6 thousand and 591.7 thousand units sold in that year, respectively.
