Battery sales value in the UK by segment 2019
As of 2019, general batteries yielded the largest sales value in the United Kindom, recording a total of 263.5 million British pounds between May 2018 and May 2019. They were followed by alkaline batteries, which recorded a sales value of 230.7 million British pounds over the same period. Rechargeable batteries, in contrast, had the lowest sales value, worth 18.2 million British pounds.
