Hate-motivated violence and harassment against LGBTI in Romania 2019
Out of the 30 countries surveyed for the study, Romania had the second highest number of respondents who experienced either a physical or a sexual attack for being LGBTI during the last five years. Nevertheless, 44 percent of respondents stated that they avoided going to certain places or locations out of hear of being assaulted or harassed.
