Number of homosexual marriages in Mexico 2010-2021
In 2021, a total amount of 453,085 marriages were registered across Mexico. Only 0.95 percent of those marriages were among people of the same sex. The number of same-sex marriages has in Mexico has increased noticeably since 2010, when mexico City became the first federal entity in the country to allow homosexual marriage.
