According to a 2020 survey, more than 50 percent of the public strongly support or somewhat support Joe Biden's clean energy proposal worth two trillion U.S. dollar. The Democratic presidential candidate published the plan in mid July 2020. It focuses on investments in a sustainable infrastructure and clean energy future, which should lead to the U.S. economy reaching zero emissions by 2050. This plan includes spending on infrastructure, the auto industry, transit, the power sector, buildings, housing, innovation, agriculture, and conservation and environmental justice.
