Unemployment rate in Norway 2020-2022, by age group
In 2022, the youth unemployment rate in Norway decreased by 2.5 percentage point compared to the previous year, reaching 10 percent. Similarly, the unemployment rate among people aged 25 to 54 years and 55 to 74 years decreased as well, falling to 2.4 and 1.2 percent, respectively. In the third quarter of 2022, the unemployment rate among men was slightly higher than among women.
