Annual house price change in Finland 2007-2020, per quarter
House prices in Finland started to recover from a small 2019 decline in early 2020, although prices were still contracting during the coronavirus pandemic. In Q2 2020, the price of a house (be it new or existing) decreased by around 1.3 percent when adjusted for inflation. This followed after the reveal of a 4.1 billion euros bailout package from the Finnish government, the largest emergency fund in Finland's history. This package came on top of a 500 million euro fund announced in March 2020.
