Global pulp for paper production 2021, by type
The global production of pulp for paper amounted to roughly 191.6 million metric tons in 2021. Of that total, chemical pulp accounted for 151.2 million metric tons. Meanwhile, production of mechanical and semi-chemical pulp stood at nearly 29 million metric tons.
