Share of global wood pulp exports 2021, by country

Brazil was by far the world's largest exporter of wood pulp in 2021, shipping nearly 24 percent of the total wood pulp exports that year. Canada followed second, accounting for over 12 percent of the global wood pulp exports. The United States was the third-largest exporter of wood pulp in 2021, and also the second-largest importer of wood pulp that year.
