Costa Rica: mobile phone ownership among children & teens 2019, by contract type
During a 2018/2019 survey, nearly 56 percent of responding children and teens in Costa Rica stated owning a prepaid mobile phone, while about 34 percent of those surveyed said to have a postpaid mobile phone contract. In 2018, almost 441 thousand mobile numbers had their providers successfully changed in Costa Rica, the largest amount in the last four years.
