Lowest unemployment rates in Spain by province 2023
The Basque province of Gipuzkoa topped the list of the Spanish provinces with the lowest unemployment rate as of the second quarter of 2023, with an unemployment rate of 6.51 percent, followed by the province of Segovia in the Autonomous Community of Castille and Leon with 7.23. As for the provinces with the highest unemployment rates, the southern regions of Spain as well as Canary Islands are greatly affected by this phenomenon.
