
Convenience store sales share South Korea 2022, by product
In 2022, the sales of beverages and processed foods accounted for around 45.6 percent of the total sales of convenience stores in South Korea. It was closely followed by tobacco with 40.4 percent. Represented by CU, GS, and 7-Eleven, convenience stores were taking up about 17 percent of the total retailing sector in the country.
