Percentage of employees paid under the minimum wage South Korea 2010-2020
In 2020, the percentage of wage workers paid below the minimum wage in South Korea was about 4.4 percent, a slight decrease from the previous year. While the rate declined from 2010 to 2012, it increased again thereafter and has shown a downward trend since 2017. Small companies, temporary workers and women were particularly affected.
