Employment in agriculture in Tanzania 2000-2020
As of 2020, nearly 65 percent of total employment in Tanzania was in the agricultural sector. According to estimates, the share of people employed in agriculture has been progressively decreasing in the country. In 2000, 83 percent of the employed Tanzanians were engaged with agricultural activities.
