Japan: value of the used vehicle market 2023

In 2023, the estimated value of the used car market in Japan contracted to approximately 3.91 trillion Japanese yen, up from 3.56 trillion Japanese yen in the previous year. The survey found that the percentage of lower-prized purchases decreased while high-prized buys increased, driving up the average used car price.
