Level of satisfaction with work arrangement (WFH or WFO) in Italy 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic, which first hit Italy in late February 2020, had a massive impact on life in the country. The measures adopted by the Italian government to control the contagion pushed many businesses to stop or radically scale down their activities. According to a recent survey, around 7.3 million people were working from home as of April 2021, corresponding to 31.6 percent of the total working population in Italy. About half of the respondents, moreover, were satisfied with their current work arrangement, be that WFH or WFO. However, opinions among those working from home were more polarized.
