Budget allocation for health and wellbeing in India 2019-2022
For the 2021-2022 budget year in India, more than two billion Indian rupees were allocated by the government for health and wellbeing purposes. This figure represents a 137 percent increase from the previous year. The Indian government allocated a considerable amount of funds in response to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
