Egyptian students in tertiary education abroad 2009-2021
The number of Egyptian students at the tertiary level studying abroad was estimated at 50,814 in 2021, the highest value over the observed period. It also represented an increase of 3,535 students compared to 2020. Since 2009, the number of internationally outbound Egyptian students has been on the rise. It grew from 12,848 that year, which represented an overall increase of 295.5 percent.
