China: scale of AI industry by segment 2026

As of 2020, the overall scale of the AI industry in China reached over 727 billion yuan and was projected to grow at an average compound annual rate of 25 percent during the observed period, amounting to more than two trillion yuan in 2026. More specifically, the size of AI-related industries was estimated to exceed the core industries roughly four to one in the years to come.
