2020 was an extraordinary year for several industries. The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic caused an economic slowdown, and the accommodation sector in Belgium was no exception. According to the source, hotels and similar accommodation generated a major part of the 2020 annual revenue in the accommodation industry in Belgium. Meanwhile, holiday and other short-stay accommodation came second, with around 3.15 million euros of revenue generated in the same year.
