Relations between cybersecurity & other departments 2021

Around 84 percent of the global cybersecurity professionals surveyed would characterize their working relationship with the IT team as very good or good, whereas 16 percent of the global cybersecurity professionals surveyed feel that the relationship between security and IT teams is fair or poor as of 2021. While this highlights an overall cohesiveness between the departments, the 16 percent are somewhat alarming as these teams must constantly work together on tasks such as technology deployment, risk mitigation, and configuration management.
