PPP GDP distribution MENA 2020, by country
Following the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Saudi Arabia had the largest share of gross domestic product (GDP) of about 33.3 percent and 34.4 percent using the purchasing power parity and market exchange rate measures respectively. Most Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries had a negative GDP growth in that year. Kuwait had a real GDP growth of almost minus nine percent in 2020.
