Nuclear consumption worldwide decreased by 4.1 percent in 2020, compared to the previous year. Argentina experienced the largest growth by far, at 25.5 percent in comparison to the previous year. South Africa and South Korea followed, with the second and third largest growth, at 13.7 and 9.1 percent, respectively. By comparison, Japan, Belgium, and Sweden had the greatest consumption declines, at 34.9, 21.6, and 19.1 percent, respectively.
