The state of California on the west coast of the United States is home to over five thousand health clubs. Meanwhile, New York state on the east coast houses around 2,200 gyms. These health clubs were severely impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, as many were forced to close for months on end to stem the spread of the virus.
