Suicide attempts among adolescents South Korea 2011-2021
According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, about 2.2 percent of middle and high school students reported having attempted suicide in the past 12 months. While the percentage of suicide attempts among middle and high school students in South Korea has decreased compared to 2011, suicide is still the leading cause of death among people aged 10 to 24.
