Annual contributions of the forestry and logging industry to GDP in Ghana 2013-2022
In 2022, the forestry and logging industry in Ghana contributed around 1.96 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly 163.3 million U.S. dollars, to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This was a slight increase from the preceding year, when approximately 1.93 billion GHS, roughly 160.8 million U.S. dollars, were registered. Over the period observed, the highest contribution was reached in 2018.
