Unemployment rate among women in the Nordic countries 2011-2021, by country
Of the Nordic countries, Sweden had the highest unemployment rare among women in 2021. Finland had the highest unemployment rates from 2014 to 2018, but its female unemployment rate fell by more than two percentage points from 2017 to 2019. Meanwhile, Norway had the lowest female unemployment rate in 2021 with 4.3 percent. Female unemployment rates are similar to those among men.
