Parental opinions on youth hockey benefits in North America 2019
According to a 2019 survey, all North American parents surveyed stated that the benefits of their children playing hockey included learning the value of teamwork and getting an opportunity to stay active. Most parents, 99 percent, also thought that playing hockey taught their children to win and lose gracefully. Meanwhile, 44 percent of parents said they thought youth hockey would lead their children to an NHL career.
