Food sustainability and adaptation score in Egypt from 2012-2022
In 2022, the food sustainability and adaptation score for Egypt reached 55.8 points, the highest during the period in review. Also, this represented a increase compared to the previous year when the score was 52. The current overall food security environment score in the country was 56. Food affordability, availability, quality and safety, as well as sustainability and adaptation make up the four major categories of the Global Food Security Index (GFSI).
