Share of final energy consumption in Central Africa 2018, by sector
In Central Africa, households accounted for over 70 percent of the final energy consumed as of 2018, representing the largest share of consumption in the region. To follow, manufacturing, construction, and mining activities made up 11 percent of the energy consumption, while a share of around 10 percent was reached by the transport sector. Energy used for agricultural purposes represented only 0.04 percent of the total.
