Amount of remittance sent by overseas workers from Philippines 2019, by occupation
In 2019, overseas Filipino workers employed in elementary occupations sent the highest amount of remittances to the Philippines amounting to roughly 42.81 billion Philippine pesos. In that same year, workers in this type of occupation accounted for almost 40 percent of the total share of migrant workers from the country.
