Total early-stage Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) in Africa 2021, by country
The Total early-stage Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) in Angola stood at nearly 50 percent in 2020, the highest among the selected African countries surveyed between 2020 and 2021. The indicator refers to the share of people aged 18 to 64 years who are nascent entrepreneurs or own a new business. The second-highest percentage was registered in Sudan, where around 34 percent of the adult population were nascent entrepreneurs or new business owners as of 2021.
