Total AIDS spending in India, by funding source 2008-2016
In India, in 2016, there was a total of 8.3 thousand U.S. dollars worth of spending for AIDS. This value has seen a sharp decrease from the previous years where the total spending on AIDS was well above 14.5 thousand U.S. dollars, as in 2011. The spending has constantly been above ten thousand U.S. dollars for every year recorded other than 2016.
