In 2022, the Norwegian Refugee Council and the Norwegian Red Cross were the non-governmental organizations (NGO) that received the highest amount of aid disbursed from the Norwegian government. Both organizations received 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner in total. The Norwegian Church Aid received the third highest amount. A total of 7.2 billion Norwegian kroner were disbursed to Norwegian NGOs in 2022.
