Volume of natural gas imports in Ghana 2009-2021
In 2021, 18.71 trillion British thermal units of natural gas were imported into Ghana. The volume decreased compared to the previous year, when it stood at around 24.4 trillion British thermal units. In 2011, natural gas imported into the country achieved a high of 30.5 trillion British thermal units. Overall, as of 2020, natural gas rents represented approximately 0.4 percent of Ghana's GDP.
