Japan: reasons for purchasing P&C insurance among SMEs 2022

According to a survey conducted in September 2022, around 32.5 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan purchased property and casualty insurance because it was suggested by an insurance agency. The increasing complexity of risks was another reason to take out non-life insurance among SMEs.
